Organic streamlines dining area - this is the first thing that reaches our eyes when we enter this four bedrooms apartment, with round edges black walnut dining table with four parallel ball pendant light. At the right side of the foyer is a rounded-edges creamy white shoe cabinet. Take off the shoes, put on a pair of comfy slippers, the curved rounded wall routes our eyes to the living room. Full height sliding doors perfectly hide the build-in TV unit with two sides of bookshelves. With a touch of soft light tone in the house smoothly bring us to the horizontal sea view at the balcony. The outer blue sky coordinate naturally with the white in the room. Silky turquoise color curtains act like a soft layer of green forest stand between our eyes and the blue sky, together with the concrete grey tone wallpaper, we are now relaxing on the earthy beige sofa with a rug. Everything stands naturally on the light wood floor with a sense of harmony.

Designer actually creates a flow of visual journey in nature rather than just a minimalistic home. The vast scenery reflecting the board vision of the people who live in this apartment, the true meaning of home.

Leave it blank = Leave it space. Covering all edges and corners with details

The build-in light oak back panel hidden from the sliding TV doors are corresponding diagonally to the dining area and also the main color theme in all bedrooms. “Leaving blanks are for further creation”, the mother said. She believes the more we leave for the space, the more possibility we can leave for our young generation. We could hear the true wish behind this message whispering from a mother to her children through this concept - “Grow out all the possibility you can ever create in your young life. Our unconditional love and support will always placed in the core of a family, the core of this house.”

Using the bi-folding slide-in door for the wall storage cabinet between the foyer and dining area is a smart idea for easily transforming a storage place into a wine display area during dinner time. White slide-in door with black walnut interior matches the tone of the dining table. This design detail creates a twist of both bright and dark theme in just one cabinet - bright and warm in the day, cozy and subtle at the night. We all understand the importance of solitude. The little space of a cozy home work station in each bedroom allow everyone can enjoy their alone time whenever it needs.

The night just before the handover day, the owner called and asked if she can come over and take the first look of the new renovation. The doorbell rang a bit later, excited faces appeared when the door opened. Kids didn’t hide their curiosity in their eyes, they looked around and amazed by the power of design.
